A native of New York City and currently based in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Daniel Gonzalez began playing music at a young age developing his craft in drum corps activities and college bands. He also performed in the Army band program that took him to Iraq 1in 2005. His technical skills and unique sound result from formal study and years of experience performing on stages worldwide. Before the pandemic, Daniel performed twice in St. Petersburg, Russia, in the heart of Nevsky Prospekt with the Joe Orrach Performance Project and stays active locally and abroad. Endorsed with Bucks County Drums and Red Cymbals of Australia, Daniel co-leads DaMoJo, a unique jazz trio featuring accomplished artists Morrie Louden and Jon Ballantyne. As the artistic director at Vic's Jazz Loft at the Stabin Museum, he curates the jazz program and performs as the house drummer with select artists.
